6.1m Airport Hill in reverse with lower field

Bumped into Paul (my boss) and elite Pascal on their way back from their run as I left.

They were both in shorts with sleves rolled up and neck zips un-zipped dripping in sweat. I was wearing two tops, a wind breaker, hat, gloves and long pants. Opps. I thanked them for the weather update and stuck the hat and gloves in a pocket. All the way around the loop people were carrying bits of excess kit.

Made it to the top of the airport hill in 8 mins, which is ok and then cleared the next two in 7:30s and then decided to ease off a bit for the middle climb. Did the bottom field for the first time in ages and it was very muddy where the ice on the path had melted. Bits in the sun were fine.

Last clip back up to the office was a slog, but focused on TRP and held the last mile together to get that one done in 8mins.

So, this week everything as been at TRP or less. Aiming to do a long run tomorrow. A faster week next week, followed by a recovery week then a 15km race and then a final long one before the taper. 28 miles so far this week.
