Hounds and Hare

33:14 - not the best. Hot, dusty and lots of tourists. Struggled to accelerate out of the standstills in the crowds. Traffic and lights were fine.

Felt I went out hard, was slow in the middle and finished strongly.

Last half mile had Martin on my tail so pushed harder for the finish and held him off.

I was off the wrong handicap too, 33 rather than 32:15 so was almost a minute slower than last month. That's what you get if you go on holiday and ski rather than run.
